MFS-uppsats om informell ekonomi i Östeuropa

Den försvarades den 4:e juni vid statsvetenskapliga institutionen i Lund. Veckan därefter fick jag besked att jag antagits som doktorand i Lund på en avhandlingsskiss som i delar är en fortsättning på idéer och uppslag och infallsvinklar från vårens fältstudie i Ukraina och Vitryssland.
Titeln lyder: "Our Mentality is to Search for Ways Around the Law" - A Minor Field Study on Path Dependence in and Perceptions of Informal Economic Exchange in Belarus and Ukraine
Nedan vill jag även passa på att på engelska förmedla några tack till de personer som varit behjälpliga på olika stadier i både fältarbete och skrivande.

A lot of people have in different ways been involved in preparations for and performance of this field study.
First and foremost, thanks to all respondents who trusted me and openly shared personal reflections and stories, giving me your time with patience and Eastern European generosity. I could never imagine what propulsion it is in peoples’ minds to meet an understanding for ones’ everyday behaviour.
In Kyiv, I thank Oksana Kovalenko for impressive work on finding respondents and making the interview situations comfortable, Swedish counselor Christian Kamill and Clara Bodin.
In Minsk, Mårten Frankby, Swedish lecturer, for letting me use the office at the Swedish Centre in Minsk for conducting interviews, in a country where it was a bit risky to conduct and record interviews in cafés, Olga Rizmakova for interpretation and patience in my contacts with the Belarusian bureaucracy, and Elena, Alina Dzeravianka and Dr. Alina Korshuk for being very good links to interesting respondents, and with good assistance with interpretation.
In Sweden, I thank Dr. Anamaria Dutceac Segesten, Patrik Andersson, Niclas Hagen, Mattias Nowak and Dr. Andreas Önnerfors – and all those who responded to my e-mails to different Slavic associations, helping me to find a variety of respondents.
